Big Day

Today was a big day. I went to the temple today! I received my Endowment at the Salt Lake Temple, and it was a perfect day. The sun was shining. There was a slight breeze. I was having a particularly pretty-feeling day, and I was surrounded by people who love me. What more could I ask for. Even the flowers knew how important it was that they bloom for me.

ruined my blouse and pockmarked my neck.

I'm growing up

I made a phone call today. It was to somewhere new.
I talked to new people about important things. I even made an appointment.
If you know me super well,
you know this is a big deal that I made a phone call to the unknown.
There was no panic attack, no tears, only a fast beating heart.

I made an appointment to receive my Endowment today. I was nervous as ever, but I was lucky to be alone in the apartment, and I could look as wonky as I wanted. The temple is not a scary place.

Just new. exciting. important. Eternally Important.
