Reminder

All of these photos do nothing if you don't know what the original crap looked like.

BEFORE:

* notice the butch sinks

Bathroom Remodel: DAY 3

Before lunch they put down the counter top and filled in the grout. Too dark for my tastes, but its WAY better than the linoleum before.

Then they put in the toilet. Woot. except we can't use for a day while part of the seal dries.

TADA!! The (almost) finished project. They need to finish the moldings and put grout or some sealant around the edges of the counter top. They will come back in a couple days (after the long weekend) but until then we are free to us it as we please.

These are our beautiful new faucets! Much better than the nasty ones from before. We even have stoppers that actually plug the sink! Luck us.

Bathroom Remodel: DAY 1

So, after a year of waiting, the day has finally arrived! We are finally getting our bathroom redone! Hallelujah!!! They started first thing this morning, and we are so excited!

They started by ripping out everything, and let me say that was pretty nasty. The floor was disgusting. ugh.

Now, if this is on our balcony, then what is in the actual bathroom?

NOTHING! A giant gaping hole! A nasty hole.

Then they layed sheet rock on the ground...

Heavenly Optometrist

Do any of you have the phone number for Mother Nature's Optometrist? I think she needs a new prescription. I don't think she can see well enough to read the calendar right. She is very confused...at least I think so. My evidence...its May...

I think someone is trying to tell me something

Somebody somewhere is trying to get a message to me. Came across these recently:

"Faith in God includes faith in his timing"
- Neal A. Maxwell

"There seems to be an unending supply of challenges for one and all. Our problem is that we often expect instantaneous solutions to such challenges, forgetting that frequently the heavenly virtue of patience is required."
- Thomas S. Monson

Da Momma

This is my mom. I love her with all my heart! She may be a little flustered at this post, but I wanted to show you all why I love her so much.

After a long day at Disneyland

(I added this photo, because Momma saw the post, and said it was a necessity)

Trying to get Della to nap at grandma and grandpa's is harder work than she thought.
(she also said to include this one, which I had never seen before, but I sure am glad she sent it)

Surprise birthday party! I love my mom

Wedding engagement shot! nice smile

Favorite shot from Christmas break! this is how i remember my mom best. hey look, pelicans!

Too bad I wasn't in town for this Halloween costume. I might have peed my pants if I saw it in person.

Parent's weekend. I love goofing off with mom

This is what mom will look like next year when she's at BYU with me

This is the perfect photo describing my mom: the best. carrying tired kids, supplies for everything, and keeping a good attitude in a bad situation. don't forget her straw hat!

Very rare photo of catching her in a goof pose

She's not afraid of animals, unlike myself who can hardly get near them.

She's so "proud" of me.

She takes us out for fun girly outings

She loves fresh produce dresses, and she's amazing

She's stinking cute with my dad!

See, still cute with him!

And she loves her daughters!!

Thought(s) of the day

Its amazing how a strong spiritual experience can uplift and edify the soul, but leaves the physical body completely drained.
