I will not try them....Sam I am

I had a huge craving for green eggs and ham. Don't ask me why, I just did. So I made a full on meal out of it. Complete with fruit and toast, positioned all perfect on my Charli's crazy plate. What do you think? Delicious? (well it doesn't look it, but I promise it was fantastic)

Wedding Bells

We completed the best prank ever on Saturday. The ward had a temple trip and we couldn't help ourselves. We have had this planned for MONTHS! We brought all the stuff with us into the temple (but kept it in our purses) so that we could dash out before the boys were done getting dressed. We practically ran to their car. We had streamers, markers, and what you can't see are 4 cans tied to the hitch on the back. No one would know this was a joke, until the boys arrived. As we were told later, all 4 boys HAD to pile into the Jeep. When other drivers saw their car pulling out of the temple they would wave, honk, or smile...But then they would double take when they saw 2 men in suits rather than bride and groom.

Move over "Kate & Leopold"

Many women know the movie "Kate & Leopold." Meg Ryan plays Kate who falls in love with the time-traveling Duke ____ (don't remember his name). He walks around all majestic in his royal 1800's clothing. Its hard not to fall for this dashing man.

Well, I had an experience today. I was studying in a hallway when a younger man walked into the classroom across the way. I thought nothing of it, until I realized he was wearing full on riding boots. Strange Pride and Prejudice style music started to play. After a couple minutes he came out and asked me some questions about how loud/disruptive the music was...I could hardly keep from gaping.

He was wearing boots, tight khaki pants, white shirt, classic Joseph Smith style tie, colorful and elegantly embroidered vest, with sleek mid-thigh coat. Not to mention he was tall, dark, and handsome. Then periodically throughout the hour, loud, beautiful, and calming music radiated from the room he had disappeared into. Oh, it was like a movie.

My wild imagination made me sure he would open the door, take two quick steps towards me, reach out his hand and the two of us would rush off to his horse and then live in his manor happily ever after.

Tide Pools

We went to Point Loma on the 30th and played in the tide pools. I have to say it was the best trip to the pools I have ever been on.

Family Photo Shoot

A couple days after Christmas we had a family photo shoot at Swami's beach. Dad was insane about having the right light and certain rocks. I thought he was off his rocker, but the photos turned out fantastic.
